EASTON------Sharon E. "Shae" Hurdle, 56, of Easton, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.

Born in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina on November 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Nathan and Peggie Ann (Carver) Hurdle she was raised and educated in Hurdle Mills, NC.

Sharon was an accomplished seamstress who worked for Lord's Upholstery in Stoughton as well as running her own design business. She was also employed by Mitchell's Restaurant on Caped Cod, the former Leonard's Restaurant in Brockton, LaDonna Restaurant of Mansfield and the LaFayette House in Foxboro.

Sharon is survived by her long time companion, Terrence McGovern of Easton; a brother, Nathan Ronald Hurdle and his wife Dorothy; a sister, Jennifer K. Hurdle; a sister-in-law, Patricia Hurdle and her beloved Aunt, Blanche Rudder all of North Carolina as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. She was also the sister of the late Emmet Dwight Hurdle.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Monday, February 6 from
5-7 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington
Street (Rte.138) Easton. In lieu of flowers donations in Sharon's memory
may be sent to the Easton Food Pantry, 136 Elm Street, North Easton,
