EASTON-------Salvino Almeida, 76, of Rome, GA., formerly of Easton, died unexpectedly on September 3, 2011 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital
in Boston while visiting family in Massachusetts.

Born in Stoughton on February 16, 1935, a son of the late
Silvino H. and Hilda I. (Ornellas) Almeida, he was raised in
Easton and was a 1952 graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

A resident of Rome, GA. For the past 30 years, Salvino was
employed as a manager in the Hotel & Restaurant Industry.
He enjoyed classic automobiles.

He is survived by a sister, Isabelle "Bette" Hughes of Brockton;
two brothers, Richard Almeida of Crownsville, MD., and Donald
Almeida of Easton; and many nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held with interment at the Immaculate
Conception Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements are by Kane Funeral
