EASTON------Edward M. Williams III, a resident of Easton for the past 50 years, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at home under the care of his family. He was the husband of the late Shirley R. (MacNeill) Williams.
Born in Brockton on September 28, 1938, a son of the late Edward
and Doris (Manchester) Williams II, he was raised and educated in
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the US Army as a Private
First Class. Edward was employed as a machinist in the process control
division of the Foxboro Company for 34 years. He was later employed as
a machinist for New Stamp Lighting of Easton.
Edward was a member of both the Foxboro American Legion Post 93 and
the Foxboro Fish and Game. His hobbies include gardening, fishing, and
Edward is survived by his adult children, Edna Jean Malone of Attleboro,
Edward M. Williams IV of Brockton, Deborah A. Williams of Easton and
Carrie R. Fustolo of Taunton; his siblings, Carol Williams of Easton, Donna
Moniz of NC., Richard Williams of FL., Lawrence Williams of Brockton, and
Lois Williams of Brockton; 7 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on
Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605
Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. Interment will follow in South Easton
Cemetery, Easton. Visiting hours on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Donations
in Edward's memory may be sent to the Foxboro American Legion Post 93,
