Patriotic Emblem

EASTON----William B. "Bill" Partridge, 85, a resident of Easton for the past 30 years, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Sachem Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Sarah P. "Sally" (Maloney) Partridge.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Horace E. and Dorothy L. (MacMillan) Partridge, he was raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. A veteran of the US Army he served as a Corporal during the Korean War.

After an honorable discharge earned a certificate as a life insurance broker and was also a shipper and receiver and drove a cab for a number of years. In 1970 he took a position with the MBTA as a yard master and worked for the State of MA for 22 years.

He was devoted to his family.

William is survived by his children, Karen Partridge of Brockton, William Partridge Jr. of Bath, MI., Kevin Partridge of Easton, Donna Eldehni of Brockton and Robert Partridge of Attleboro; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Jack Mahon, Robert Partridge, Walter Partridge and Dorothy Horgan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday from 5-7 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at Noon in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton.
