Air Force Emblem

EASTON——Vernon Witherell of Easton, passed away on January 11, 2022 at age 83 and is now playing golf in heaven. His love for golf began as a kid when he started caddying at Highland Country Club. He leaves his long time loving companion, and golf partner, Carol Britton.

Vernon, was an Air Force veteran, who served in Germany in the 50's during the Korean War. He was forever grateful for the health benefits provided by the V.A.

Born in Attleboro, MA, he was raised and educated in Attleboro. In addition to his companion Carol Britton, he leaves his brother Kenneth Witherell of Attleboro, a nephew, David Witherell of Topsfield, MA, and many other nieces and nephews. He was the youngest of five brothers, born to the late Alvin E. Witherell and Bertha (Bramhall) Witherell. Vernon is proceeded by his late brothers, Norman, Donald and Carlton Witherell.

There will be no visitation or services held at the time per Vernon's request.
