WAREHAM——Timothy P. "Tim" Hanscom, 60, of Wareham, formerly of Easton, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Joni LeBlanc.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Herb and Lois (Higgins) Hanscom, he was raised in Easton and was a 1975 graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

Timothy worked as a carpenter and was the proprietor of Tim Hanscom Windows & Doors of Wareham.

An organ donor for those in need, he was devoted to his family. His hobbies included washing and detailing his cars, boating, driving, going on road trips and watching Nascar racing in Loudon, NH. with his buddies.

Artistic and creative Tim enjoyed the peacefulness of the Ocean. He enjoyed making people happy and was a neat nick who loved music and would often be seen mowing the neighbors lawn. He traveled the country and visited every state except Alaska and Hawaii.

In addition to his wife Joni he is survived by his children, Terrence T. Hanscom of Somerville, Madeline M. Hanscom of Plymouth, Emily M. Belanger of Wareham, Connor J. Brooksbank of Wareham, Dana K. Brooksbank of Wareham and Natalie A. Toomey of Easton; his siblings, Marlane Hanscom Gomes and her husband James of AZ., Carl Hanscom and his wife LouAnne of FL., and Kitty Hanscom Falco of East Bridgewater; a grandson, Lucas Hanscom; his faithful dog, Ramon; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Timothy's memory may be sent to Dana-Farber Boston Children's Cancer Institute 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA. 02115.
