EASTON——Rosanna M. (Doherty) Doucette, 92, of Easton, formerly of Stoughton and Raynham, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at home and under the care of her family. She was the wife of the late Eugene F. Doucette, Sr.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Elizabeth (O'Neil) Doherty, she was raised in Charlestown and was a graduate of Charlestown High School.

Rosanna was employed by B and M Railroad as a bookkeeper. Later, she devoted herself to raising her children. A resident of Stoughton for over 40 years, she moved to Raynham for several years and then to Easton 6 years ago.

A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton, she was a former member of the Sodality of Our Lady Guild.

For many years, Rosanna would spend her winter seasons in Naples, Florida, where she had a great community of friends whom she enjoyed being with at Crystal Lake. An avid reader, she enjoyed playing cards and was an enthusiastic Boston sports fan.

Rosanna is survived by her children, Christine M. Reichert and her husband Charles of East Bridgewater, Eugene F. Doucette Jr. and his wife Michele of Castaic, CA., Diane E. Kent and her husband James of Easton, Timothy P. Doucette of Easton and his former wife Barbara of Middleboro, Michael S. Doucette of Plymouth and his former wife Lisa of Raynham and Tina M. Doucette of Easton and her partner Scott Watkins of Franklin; a sister, Catherine E. Roy of Pembroke; a brother, Richard Doherty of West Harwich; 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Francis Doherty, Joseph Doherty, James Doherty and Mary Landry.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton. Inurnment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 p.m. Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery donations in Rosanna's memory may be sent to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA. 02379. A celebration of Rose's life will begin at 3pm on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Easton Knights of Columbus on Route 106. The family would enjoy your presence to relive the memories of Rosanna Doucette.
