EASTON——Robert W. Fleming, 17, a lifelong resident of Easton, died December 30, 2016 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Easton in which Robert's father, William R. Fleming also died.

Born in Brockton, a son of Deena E. (Cook) Fleming of Easton and the late William R. Fleming, he was raised in Easton and was an 11th grade junior at Oliver Ames High School in Easton.

Robert was compassionate towards others and a loyal friend to many who knew him.

Robert worked part-time as a customer service representative in the produce department at the Big Y in Easton. He enjoyed learning both math and history and his goal was to continue his schooling to study video game graphics and design.

Robert raised Siberian Huskies and enjoyed the companionship of his faithful dogs, Darla, Rover, Oliver and Dolly.

In addition to his mother Deena, he is survived by his siblings, Joseph Gizzi of Easton, Kimberly Newman and her fiance Guillermo Vizarreta of Margate, FL.; and Amy Maliff of Easton; 2 nieces. Skylar Lordan and Bailey Vizarreta; maternal grandson of Margaret (Bernsten) Cook of Easton and Joseph Cook of Naples, FL.; nephew of Jason Cook of Easton; also survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins from his father's side. He was the paternal grandson of the late Robert and Roberta (Holmes) Fleming.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by funeral prayers at 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Furnace Village Cemetery, South Street, Easton.
