EASTON——Robert Davis, 84, of Quincy, formerly of Easton, died April 10, 2017 at Quincy Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Symra (Barsky) Davis.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Matt) Davis, he was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of English High School and attended Boston School of Design.

Robert was employed as a professional meat cutter in the supermarket industry. He began working for Roxie's Supermarket of Stoughton. He later took a position with Stop & Shop and became an instructor in food handling, meat cutting and safety.

He was a member of the Food Service Workers Union and the Elder Service Plan of Mattapan.

He was a devoted husband and father who cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and was an avid Boston sport fan.

Robert is survived by two sons, Randy Davis and his wife Melissa of Brockton and Jeffrey Davis of Attleboro. Two grandchildren, Steven Davis of Norwood and Fallon Davis of Brockton; also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Lorraine Wolrich.

A private graveside service was held at Birsen Cemetery in Everett. Arrangements are by Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Easton. For condolences visit www.kanefuneralhome.com
