Phyllis Roslyn Nichols, 77, passed away on May 31, 2021 peacefully of natural causes at her home in South Easton, Massachusetts. Phyllis was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 30, 1943. She was the daughter of Harold E. Pollack and Frieda L. Rafflelson, and the devoted wife of 51 years of Robert J. Nichols, and devoted and loving mother to Dustin I. Nichols and Joshua D. Nichols.

Phyllis grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She attended Girls Latin School in Dorchester, and was a graduate of the Jerimiah E Burke high school in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She attended Alda Marova School of Dance for several years and performed in many outstanding solo recitals, and continued with her dancing through her teens and 20s where she performed in various venues around Boston and Las Vegas as a Latin American dancer. She graduated from Dale Academy with a certificate in cosmetology following her graduation from Jeremiah E Burke high school. She also worked as a clerical support person in Cambridge, Massachusetts and waitressed at a number of restaurants and resorts nationwide. She met the love of her life on the Showboat which was on Nantasket Beach, in Hull, Massachusetts. She was also a sales person in downtown Boston for C. Crawford Hall. She had an eye for beauty, an ear for music of all kinds, enjoyed home décor, cooking, restored and refurbished antique furniture, and enjoyed her time with her husband who was a professional musician collaborating with him as a vocal artist. Phyllis also had a talent and affinity for drawing and art. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who valued her family above all.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, and her mother and father.

Phyllis is survived by her loving sons Dustin I. Nichols, of Dana Point, California, and Joshua D. Nichols of Rochester New York. She was the proud grandmother of two grandchildren, Lucas K. Nichols, and Grant W. Nichols. She is also survived by her two sisters Bernice D. Pattow, of Brighton, Massachusetts, and Darlene J. Nichols, of Winthrop, Massachusetts along with several other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Kane Funeral home in South Easton, Massachusetts at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, Massachusetts, at 1:45 p.m..
