Paul L Bodio Jr, 68, of Avon, died on May 5, 2020. He was the loving son of the late Paul and Virginia Bodio.

Paul was born in Dorchester, raised in Easton and was a 1969 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. He continued his education at UMass Amherst and Empire Beauty Academy in Boston. Paul was owner operator of Shabu Hair Salon in Stoughton, becoming stylist and friend to many. He later became a skilled heavy equipment operator and site supervisor for local construction companies.

Paul will be remembered as a quiet, kind soul with an intelligent wit and a love of traveling and exploring, nature, animals, his parrot Lenore, his friends and especially his family.

He is survived by his devoted siblings and their families; Joanne Canty, Richard Bodio, Kathleen Barrett, Thomas Bodio, John Bodio, Teresa Mahoney and MaryEllen Bodio. He was the beloved Uncle Paul to all his nieces and nephews as well as to many others who had the pleasure to know him.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at a time when it is safe to gather.
