Easton—Paul E. Deschenes, 73, of Easton, passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2021 under the care of his family.

Paul was born in Lowell on October 17, 1947 to Beatrice (Galibois) Deschenes and Paul Deschenes. He was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School. After high school, Paul attended the University of Massachusetts Boston where he received his bachelor's degree in English and was one of the Universities first graduating class. He then furthered his education at Bently University where he received a certificate in accounting.

Paul was employed by the City of Newton for 27 years as the Benefits Manager.

Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda A. (Picard) Deschenes, a daughter, Elizabeth Graeff and a grandson, Dylan Robert Graeff.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
