EASTON----Opal M. Studley of South Easton, MA passed away quietly at home after a long battle with third-stage kidney failure. She was 94 years of age.

Opal was born on August 1, 1927 in Dombey, Oklahoma. She married Richard Studley of Easton, MA in 1945 while he was assigned to Kansas in the Army Air Corp. They raised a family and eventually moved back to Massachusetts.

Opal graduated in 1968 from a two-year nursing program at South Easton Technical School. Opal worked in two nursing homes in North Easton and retired from the Brockton Hospital in 1989 after 23 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow up. She was interested in flowers, sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

Opal is survived by her children, Ruth A. Quick of Kansas, June E. Tolbert of Maryland, Richard F. Studley of Easton and David A. Studley of Easton; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Opal was predeceased by her parent's, Frank H. and Lucille (Kammerzell) Brittain; her husband Richard F. Studley; two daughters, Mary E. Studley and Betty-Jo Vieira; a brother, Franklin J. Brittain; and three sisters, Heneritta House, Jeannetta N. Brittain and Rosemary Cordry.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Friday,April 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in South Easton Cemetery, (Rte.138) Washington Street, Easton.
