EASTON---Noreen (Kennedy) Kobs, 72, a resident of Easton for the past 45 years passed away on November 15, 2021 after a long illness.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Rita (Kearns) Kennedy, she was raised in Roslindale and was a graduate of St. Clare High School in Roslindale and continued her education earning a Certificate in Nursing.

Noreen was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Roslindale.

A communicant of the Holy Cross Church in Easton, she served as past secretary and was a former religious education teacher. Her hobbies included, golf, traveling, trips to Disneyworld as well as cruises. Her greatest treasure was time spent with family.

Noreen is survived by her daughter, Lauren Kobs of Easton and her companion John Fernandes and his daughter Avery; and a brother, Michael Kennedy and his wife Joan of Canton;a brother-in-law Dennis Myhre; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Anne Myhre, Eileen Korsun and Catherine Kuddy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, Easton. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Donations in Noreen's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1324 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA. 02301.
