EASTON----Michele J. "Mikki" (Noonan) Azevedo, 86, a longtime resident of Easton, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late James S. Azevedo.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Edmund A. and Florence J. (McColgan) Noonan, she was raised in Boston and was a graduate of the Boston Public Schools.

Mikki was employed by Boston Edison for numerous years in the clerical division. An active communicant and volunteer of the Holy Cross Church in Easton she served as a eucharistic minister and was past president of St. Vincent DePaul Society at Holy Cross Church.

Michelle is survived by her step-children, James "Mike" Azevedo and his wife Wanda of Raynham, Linda Carlson and her husband Dennis of FL., and Thomas Azevedo and his wife Kelly of FL.; a brother, Edmund "Buddy" Noonan of Dedham; a sister, Sheila Broderick of Stoughton; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jacqueline Flaherty and Carol Duchaney.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
