EASTON—-Michael T. "O'Brien, 34, of Easton, formerly of Taunton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 16, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Born in Taunton, a son of Tammy (Bump) Macrina and her husband Joseph Macrina, he was raised in in Taunton and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School.

Michael began learning the professional trade of auto mechanics from his late grandfather George Bump. He was employed by Sullivan Auto & Tire as a mechanic in West Bridgewater and had completed his schooling in auto mechanics with the support of work employer.

Michael's greatest gifts was his devotion to his son and his hobbies include auto mechanics and cars.

In addition to his mother Tammy and his step-father Joe, he is survived by his beloved son Michael O'Brien Jr. of Middleboro; his brother, Evan Williams of Easton and his maternal grandmother, Lolamarie (Townsend) Bump of Taunton; also survived by the mother of his son Marie (Raymond) Hunt and her husband Josh of Middleboro.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday evening from 4-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton.
