WEST BRIDGEWATER----Michael C. Faghan, a resident of West Bridgewater for the past 18 years, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Brockton Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Jane (Hannon) Faghan for 29 years.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Jack and Marie (Stevenson) Faghan, he was raised in Weymouth and was a graduate of South Shore Vocational Technical High School and Suffolk University receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as a sergeant in the US Army with an honorable discharge.

He was employed in the sales division of NOW Health Food. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Poquoy Brook Golf Club in Lakeville. He was an avid sports fan, very patriotic, and was an active volunteer with various veterans' organizations and fund raising.

In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by his daughter Ashley Faghan of West Bridgewater. He is also survived by his son Michael C. Faghan Jr. of Whitman, and daughter Jennifer Janczurewicz of Weymouth, five grandchildren, Hannah, Kyla, Braeden, Isabella, and Harrison; a brother, Robert Faghan of Hampton, NH a sister, Jacqueline Jones of Hanson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours from 4-7 pm on Monday, July 30, at Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, MA. Funeral service on Tuesday, July, 31 at 11:00 am in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services followed by interment with military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:00 p.m. Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery, donations in Michael's memory may be sent to, Homes for Our Troops (myhftousa.org).
