Maureen "Moe" Butler L'Heureux, 57, of Dorchester, formerly of Easton and Marstons Mills, died peacefully at The Boston Home on January 1,2018 with loving family by her side.

Born on July 22,1960 in Brockton to the late Charles and Marie (Barry) Butler, she was raised in Easton with her siblings: Kathy (Mattson), David, Charlie, Paul, Sheila and John. She graduated from Oliver Ames High School and continued her education to receive a Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College.

Maureen was most proud of being a loving mother to her daughter Kaitlyn L'Heureux. She is also survived by many loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and friends. Moe spent the last 9 years among devoted friends and compassionate caregivers at The Boston Home in Dorchester.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 5, from 4-8 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Mary, Stonehill College, 124 Belmont Street, Easton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen's memory may be sent to The Boston Home, 2049 Dorchester Ave. Dorchester Center, MA 02124 or The Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451.
