BROCKTON----Mary (Perry) Straccia, 95, a resident of Brockton for the past 70 years, passed away peacefully at Alliance of West Acres after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Harry F. Straccia.

Born in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Manuel and Phoebe (Chaves) Perry, she was raised in West Bridgewater and was a 1943 graduate of West Bridgewater High School. Mary continued her education in Boston where she earned a certificate as a licensed hair beautician.

Mary was the proprietor along with her late husband of Harry's Beauty Salon in Brockton for many years. Mary was an avid bingo player who enjoyed traveling and trips to Portugal. Mary treasured the time spent with family and friends the most.

Mary is survived by a son, Harry Paul Straccia of Brockton and her late daughter Marianne Straccia and sister of the late Joseph Perry, Anthony Perry and Manuel Perry.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church 225 Purchase Street, Easton requiring mask and social distancing. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers a Mass Offering for the Repose of her soul is requested. For directions or condolences visit
