EASTON——Mary E. (Hagerty) Cotone, 80, of Easton, formerly of Randolph, died Friday, January 27, 2017 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late William and Cleo (Gill) Hagerty, she was raised in Boston and was a graduate of South Boston High School.

Mary was employed in the quality control division at Newcan Company in Holbrook for 30 years. A resident of Randolph for 50 years, she moved to Easton 13 years ago.

She played in a bowling league in Holbrook for many years and was a member of the Never More Motorcycle Club of Bridgewater who raised money for various charities in the area.

She would often vacation to Bangor and Bar Harbor, Maine and admired lighthouses. She appreciated the serenity of the ocean and walking along the beach. Her hobby was macrame.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be remembered as a giving person to those who kew her.

Mary is survived by her children Pamela Cotone of Easton, Donna Olson and her husband Gary of Carver, Joseph Cotone of Middleboro, Lori Martin of West Bridgewater and Francis "Bud" Cotone of Easton; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William Hagerty and Anne Drysdale and a loving partner to the late Francis J. Cotone.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. Interment will follow in Furnace Village Cemetery, Easton. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. For directions or condolences visit
