BROCKTON—-Marjorie E. (Peterson) Morehardt, 85, of Brockton, formerly of West Bridgewater, died, Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Baypointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Peter "Jack" Morehardt.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Arthur and Alma (Birmingham) Peterson, she was raised and educated in Dorchester.

Devoted to her family, Marjorie enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a resident of West Bridgewater for over 30 years before moving to Bridgewater and Halifax.

Marjorie is survived by three daughters, Nadine E. Folcik and her husband Stephen of Bridgewater, Barbara E. Kenyon and her husband Donald of Easton and Jennifer L. Plante and her husband Mark of Carver; six grandchildren, Jessica Folcik, Jordan Folcik, Jeremy Folcik, Meredith Plante, Harrison Plante, and Mark Plante Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Clifford Peterson, William Peterson, John Peterson, Agnes Stoltz, Ernest Peterson, Arthur Peterson, Kenneth Peterson and Charles Peterson.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers donations in Marjorie's memory may be sent to the Salvation Army, 216 Centre Street, Brockton, MA. 02303.
