BRIDGEWATER---Margery V. (Trobough) Leary, 82, of Bridgewater, formerly of Randolph, Taunton and Rehoboth, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Easton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John F. Leary.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 10, 1928, a daughter of the late Harry and Vicoria (Korch) Trobough, she was raised and educated in Michigan and Dorchester. A graduate of Bridgewater State College, she earned a Bachelor of Education degree.

She was employed as a substitute teacher for the Rehoboth School System for 10 years. Mrs. Leary enjoyed painting, reading and gardening and was a member of the Bridgewater Senior Center.

She is survived by five children, John Leary of Bridgewater, Patricia-Ann Conley of Easton, Henry J. Leary of FL., Joseph M. Leary of FL., and Victoria R. Harbison of Virginia; eleven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Margery’s memory may be sent to Bridgewater Senior Center, 10 Wally Krueger Way, Bridgewater, MA. 02324-2400.
