BROCKTON——Madeline R. (Principe) Meade, 92, of Brockton, formerly of Easton, died Friday, December 15, 2017. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Meade.

Born in Brockton, a daughter of the late James and Rosella (McLaughlin) Principe, she was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School.

She was a resident of Easton for 41 years prior to moving to Brockton. A founding member of the Holy Cross Church in Easton, Madeline was an avid bingo player who's life evolved around her family. She enjoyed traveling by bus and visiting various states along the east coast.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Meade-Nelson and her husband Gregory of Brockton; two grandchildren, Stephanie Langer and her husband Tom of Nashua, NH., and Victoria Elleisy of Brockton; and three great grandchildren, Austin Nelson and Collin and Madison Langer; she was also the sister of the late James Principe (former deputy fire chief,) William Principe, Marie Principe and Helen Hennigar.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday morning, Dec. 23, 2017 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Private family interment will follow.
