Patriotic Emblem

EASTON - Lester V. Marchand, 81, a longtime resident of Easton passed away on November 1, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Maria (Serene) Taylor- Marchand for 40 years.

Born and raised in Norwood, he was the son of the late Lester P. And Ina (Conrad) Marchand. Lester was a graduate of Norwood High School, class of 1959. Following High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in the military police.

Lester was a self employed mason for 50 years, working hard at his trade.

He enjoyed hunting and devoting his time to his grandchildren and traveling with his late wife to the Caribbean and vacationing in Maine.

He is survived by his two children, Annette R. Taylor and her companion Steven Delancey of Norton and Mark Taylor and his wife Penny of Easton; five siblings, Steven Marchand, Meryl Marchand, Stanley Marchand, Gereen "Gerry" Treeful, Susan Ferreia,; four grandchildren, Paige Taylor, Declan Taylor, Liam Taylor and Jonathan Taylor. He was also grandfather of the late Steven Taylor and brother of the late Joan Downs, Robert Marchand and Brenda Bing.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, November 8th form 4 to 7 pm in the Kane Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 605 Washington St Easton. Funeral home service will follow visitation starting at 7:00 pm. Private family interment will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
