BROCKTON——Laurie Ann (Nelson) Phillips, 56, of Brockton, formerly of East Bridgewater, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at home under the care of her family. She was the wife of Paul J. Phillips for 37 years.

Born in Somerville, a daughter of Elizabeth A. (Nelson) Nelson of East Bridgewater and the late
Kenneth A. Nelson, she was raised in Vermont and Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School.

Laure was employed as a marketing assistant for Chadwick's of Boston in West Bridgewater. After, she took a position as a marketing assistant with Holy Cross Family Ministries at Stonehill College in Easton where she worked for the past 12 years.

Her hobbies included baking and making crafts. She was devoted to her family.

In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by two children, Brandi Leoncello and her husband Jason of Brockton. And Brian Phillips of North Carolina; a sister, Debbie Jenkins of Norton, two brothers, Kenneth Nelson of Waterbury, VT., and Daniel Nelson of Whitman; two grandchildren, Isabell Phillips and Jacoby Leoncello both of Brockton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. The funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Easton.
