Patriotic Emblem

EASTON---Laurence A. Choate, 59, of Easton, passed away on November 22, 2020 at the VA Boston Healthcare System in West Roxbury after a brief illness. He was the husband of Nongnuch (Boonlare) Choate for the past 20 years.

Born in Weymouth, a son of Richard and Harriet (Stott) Choate, he was raised in Hanson and was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton.

A veteran of the US Navy he served during peacetime and was the photographer for the Admiral during his time served. After honorable discharge he began working as an apprentice in the plumbing industry and later earning his licensure.

Laurence loved listening to music and playing the guitar.

Laurence is survived by three children his siblings and six grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. Due to Covid-19 restrictions at the cemetery, Private family interment will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
