EASTON——Lance A. Stone, 45, a resident of Easton for the past 20 years, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Rosemary (Ward) Stone.

Born in Stoughton, a son of Lance R. Stone of Brockton and the late Janet M. (Williams) Stone, he was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton.

Lance was employed as a customer service representative for Auto Plus of Avon for the past 25 years.

Lance enjoyed the peacefulness and serenity of walking along the beach with his wife Rosemary and they would often travel to National Parks in both Utah and Arizona.

In addition to his wife Rosemary and his father, he is survived by two stepchildren, Michelle Ward of Brockton and George Moore of Easton; a granddaughter, Theresa Ward of Brockton; a sister-in-law, Nancy Davenport of Easton; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. He was also the brother of the late James Davenport.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. For directions or condolences visit
