EASTON——Joseph D. Clark, 50, of Easton, formerly of Roslindale, died peacefully in his sleep on October 30, 2016 while on a hunting trip in Waldo, Maine. He was the husband of Tara J. (LeClair) Clark.

Born in Boston, a son of the late William and Sylvia (McNulty) Clark. he was raised in Roslindale and was a graduate of West Roxbury High School. He entered the US Army and served as a Private 2nd Class during peacetime

Upon honorable discharge he took a position with the MBTA as a machinist and was employed for over 27 years, most recently with the Cabot Garage.

Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 238 of Easton, the Post 1 AMVETS of Roslindale and the Elks in West Roxbury and a former member of the HPHR of Hyde Park.

Joseph served as a volunteer coach for the Easton Pop Warner Football as well as Easton Youth Baseball. An avid hunter and fisherman he took great pride in maintinging his property, especially his swimming pool which he greatly enjoyed while entertaining family and friends.

A devoted husband and father, he was a communicant of the Holy Cross Church in Easton.

In addition to his wife Tara, he is survived by four children, Brittany Clark of Dedham, Tanner Clark of Easton, Rilee Clark of Easton and Braden Clark of Easton; a sister, Christine Clark of Holbrook; and his in-laws, Paul and Lorraine LeClair of Dedham. Brother-in-law of Marc LeClair and his fiance Julie Webb of Dedham; also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Military honors will follow the Mass. Interment is private.
