EASTON——John W. Voltolini, 60, a resident of Easton for the past 22 years, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was the devoted husband of Donna M. (Bruning) Voltolini for 37 years.

Born in Cambridge, a son of the late Mary L. (Seibert) Joyce, he was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin. He continued his education at Northeastern University in Boston earning a Bachelors Degree in Allied Health and Science.

John worked as the administrative director of clinical labs at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham.

A member and former insurance salesman for the Knight of Columbus Council 238 of Easton, John was a former coach for Brockton Youth Hockey.

John loved being outdoors especially camping, traveling, hockey, music and was a huge Boston sports fan. A compassionate and loyal friend to those who knew him, John's greatest enjoyment was the love of his family.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his children, Danielle N. Panaikas and her husband Chad of Raynham, Ryan J. Voltolini and his wife Chrisanthi of Chicago, IL., and John Voltolini and his wife Kellie of Raynham. His siblings, Tracey Joyce of Cambridge, Donna Joyce of VA, Skip Joyce of AL and the late Rose Joyce. He is also the Proud Papa of six grandchildren, nieces and nephews and dog lover and friend to Rex, Sydney and Lily.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Private cremation will follow. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St.Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or to Special Olympics Massachusetts 512 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
