Patriotic Emblem

EASTON-----John J. Reardon, 90, formerly of North Easton, died January 27, 2019, at Heights Crossing Memory Care in Brockton. He was born in North Easton on August 14, 1928, to Jeremiah and Rosetta (Travers) Reardon. Following his graduation from Oliver Ames High School in 1946, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in U.S.-occupied Japan until the end of 1947.

Jack married his high school sweetheart, Mary (Correia), in 1951, and together they raised their family in North Easton, where they lived until Mary's death in 2008. He was a member of Teamsters Local 635, and was employed for many years at Cape Cod Overland Express in Avon.

He is survived by his children, Thomas and his wife Suzanne of Essex Junction, VT, Virginia Angelo and her husband Steven of Falmouth, and
Joseph and his wife Karen of Mansfield. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Erin, Nolan, Olivia, Shaina and John, his sister Margaret Lupica, and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his son Sean, who died in 1992.

A memorial and burial service is being planned for late spring at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heights Crossing Assisted Living (please stipulate Memory Care Programming), 35 Christy's Place, Brockton, MA 02301
