EASTON---Joan Sanders, 70, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Monday, November 27, 2017 at home.

Born in Stoughton, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Sylvester) McClurg, she was raised and educated in Easton.

Joan worked as a molder in the plastic manufacturing industry and was employed by Philip's Manufacturing. After, she went to work for Texas Instruments and later took a position with Shaw's Supermarket.

Joan was an amateur artist who enjoyed drawing and sewing. She was also a DJ at one time.

She is survived by her siblings, Alice Brugliera and her husband Raymond of Plymouth, Billie McClurg of West Palm Beach, FL., and Kathleen McClurg of Carver; and several nieces and nephew and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was also the sister of the late Peggy Stroth.

Arrangements are by Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Easton.
