Heart Emblem

EASTON---Jeanne M. (Powers), 76, a longtime resident of Easton, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2021. She was the devoted wife of James J. "Jim" Bosse for 57 years.

A daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Nyberg) Powers, she was raised in Holbrook and was a graduate of Holbrook High School Class of 1962. Jeanne assisted her husband in the early years of his business, Bosse Construction of Easton, until she committed her life to lovingly raising a family.

Jeanne enjoyed traveling extensively, and loved taking "mystery" rides with her husband. She was a former member of the Easton Garden Club who loved decorating her house during the holidays. Most important was the time she spent with her cherished children, grandchildren, family and friends.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three loving children, Michael Bosse and his wife Maureen of Easton, Kevin Bosse of Easton and Linda Charron and her husband Joseph of Easton; a sister, Gail Donovan and her husband Joel of Lake Harding, AL.; and her beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Katie, Sydney, Jordan, Jared and Jillian. She was also the sister of the late Thomas Powers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral Mass requiring Mask & Social Distancing on Wednesday, January 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton. Donations in Jeanne's memory may be sent to American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd. #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
