PEMBROKE——Jamey A. Gonsalves, 55, of Pembroke, formerly of Walpole, died Monday, April 9, 2018 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Paula L. (Martis) Gonsalves.

Born in Attleboro, of father Joseph Gonsalves (deceased) and Carol (Manchester) Sullivan of Brockton, Jamey was raised by his Mom and Dad Carol and Ronald Sullivan and educated in Brockton.

Jamey was employed as a Master Mechanic and worked for United Petroleum of Middleboro for 20 years.

A devoted father, husband, son, and car enthusiast.

In addition to his wife Paula and his parents, he is survived by his children, Casey E. McKelvain of Hernando, FL., Jamie Lynn Gonsalves of Pembroke, Kyle J. Gonsalves of Pembroke, four stepchildren, Tanya Murray of NY., Lyndie Doherty of Brockton, Thomas Doherty of Brockton and Felicia A. Martis of Whitman; three brothers, Kevin Sullivan of East Bridgewater, Brian Sullivan of Pembroke, Joseph Gonsalves of Brockton; a sister, Carol Wright of East Bridgewater; an aunt, Ethel Manchester of Pawtucket, RI.; two uncles, Eugene Manchester of Pawtucket and Stephen Manchester and his wife Susan from Warwick, RI.; and many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thecla Catholic Church, 145 Washington Street,(Rte.53) Pembroke. Arrangements are by Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Easton. For directions or condolences visit
