Patriotic Emblem

EASTON—-J. Frank Jezard, 86, a resident of Easton for the past 59 years, died peacefully at home on Friday, April 6, 2018 under the care of his family. He was the husband of the late Alma M. (Perkins) Jezard.

Born in Brockton, a son of the late Samuel G. and Lilias (Forbes) Jezard, he was raised in Brockton and was a 1949 graduate of Brockton High School and a former Navy Reservist.

Frank was employed in the analytical analysis safety division of Proctor & Gamble for 36 years. In addition, he was the former proprietor of Jezard Carpet Cleaning and Jezard Carpet Sales before turning the companies over to his children.

As member of the Fellowship Church in Easton, he was also a member of the choir. A past member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, he was an active bocce player who enjoyed traveling to Florida in his retirement. He was also an active volunteer for cancer patients who needed transportation to their appointments.

Frank is survived by his four sons, Jeff Jezard and his wife Lisa of Easton, Peter J. Jezard of Easton, Scott H. Jezard of Easton and Gregory Jezard and his wife Cynthia Slattery of Norton; his siblings, Gordon Jezard of Brockton, Mary Crosier of Scituate and Ann Bennett of Bridgewater; six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michael, Elizabeth, Madeline, Kevin and Ross; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Jack Jezard and Dorothy Howland.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. The funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Church, 604 Foundry Street (Rte.106) Easton.
