BRIDGEWATER----Hope A. (Caouette) Haynes, 97, a resident of Bridgewater for the past 40 years, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on Monday, January 7, 2018 at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Leon Haynes.

Born in Woonsocket, RI., a daughter of the late Albert and Alicia (Singleton) Caouette, she was raised in Woonsocket and was a graduate of Woonsocket High School.

A past member of the Order of the Eastern Star , Paul Dean Lodge, she enjoyed knitting, bingo and reading.

Hope is survived by her children, Linda McGee of Jackson, MI., Alan Haynes and his wife Diane of West Bridgewater, Dennis Haynes of Abington, Carl Haynes and his wife Barbara of Easton, Gary Haynes and his wife Deborah of Bridgewater, Gregory Haynes of Marshfield and Kevin Haynes and his wife Sandra of Bridgewater; 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Bonnie Barber and grandmother of the late Jay Barber.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Donations in Hope's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1324 Belmont Street, Unit 204, Brockton, MA. 02301 or to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd., # 200, Framingham, MA. 01701.
