TAUNTON----Fred L. Reynolds Jr., 62, of Taunton, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Cathy A. (Richard) Reynolds for 37 years.

Born in Brockton, a son of Fred L. and Cleda (Chisholm) Reynolds, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Southeastern Regional High School.

As an automotive technician, he worked in the auto industry throughout his career and was last employed at Clay Chevrolet in Norwood.

An avid automobile enthusiast, he enjoyed slot car racing, drag racing and attending NASCAR events in Loudon, NH., Pocono Raceway in PA., and Dayton Speedway in FL.

A devoted father, he treasured the time spent with his children camping when they were growing.

In addition to his wife Cathy, he is survived by a son and daughter, Daniel Reynolds and his wife Stephanie of Orlando, FL., and Devon Weiss and her husband Matthew of Cumberland, RI.; a brother, Thomas Reynolds and his wife Wendy of Easton; one grandchild, Jordan and many other extended family members.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
