Middleboro—Frank J. Rego, 78, of Middleboro, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday July, 24, 2021.

Frank was born in Brockton on September 13, 1943 to Frank M. Rego and Mary (Benton) Rego. He was raised in Easton and was employed by various companies throughout his life. Frank loved his coffee and took an interest in scraping metal as a scrap metal coordinator at a salvage facility. Many days you could find Frank happily playing with his grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Rego, of Taunton, his brothers; Richard Rego, of Booth Bay Harbor, ME, Robert Rego, of Atlanta, GA and Bobby Hill of MA. His sisters; Patricia Rego, of Chattanooga, TN and Gail Hatch of Halifax. Frank is also survived by five grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his former wife, the late Doreen (Davey) Rego and his companion, the late Geraldine Wilbur.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, August 3rd from 4-7 p.m. with funeral home service starting at 7 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte. 138) Easton. Burial will be private at a later date.
