EASTON – Frances J. Fish, a longtime resident of Easton, died from a brief, sudden illness on November 17 at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 86.
Born and raised in Hyde Park to the late Frank Alberto and Felicia (Ungaro), she attended Hyde Park High School before working at The Royal Curtain Factory, also in Hyde Park.

She met her late husband of 54 years, Euel D. Fish, when he was in the Navy and stationed in Boston. They got married in 1955 and moved to Easton in 1960. Fran traveled with Euel and their family to his home state of Tennessee many times. Fran and Euel finally visited Graceland during their last trip together in 2010.

Fran, or "Frannie," was always the life of the party and kept her feisty spirit and sense of humor until the end. She loved dancing to country music, drinking tea, cooking for family and friends, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She moved to her apartment at Parker Terrace in Easton in 2011 was a member of the Parker Terrace "lunch bunch," where she made many dear friends.

She leaves her four children; Donna M. McDonald of Easton and her husband Mike, Gail F. Fish of Lakeville, James F. Fish of Eastham and his partner Laurie Watson, and Jeffrey J. Fish of Stoughton and his wife Rita.

She also leaves nine grandchildren; Michael McDonald of Houston, Tx. and his wife Brooke, Matthew McDonald of Easton, Meaghan McDonald of Washington, D.C., Jarred McDonald of Easton, Amelia Tatarian of New Bedford and her spouse Allie, Abigail Tatarian of Amherst and her partner Kaveh Pouresmail, Christian Fish of Austin, Tx., Jody Fish of Sweden, and Jeffrey D. Fish of Easton and his wife Elizabeth, and a great-granddaughter; Noemia Fish of Austin, Tx.
She is survived by two siblings; Ann Sarto of Dedham and her husband Joseph, and Florence Dwyer of Hull; a brother-in-law, Norman Longval of Dedham, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four siblings; Vera Alberto, Rosalie MacDonald, Louis Alberto, and Mary Longval.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, November 22 from 5-8 p.m. in the Kane Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 605 Washington St. (Rte. 138), Easton. A funeral mass for Frances will take place on Tuesday November 23, at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main St, North Easton. Interment will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
