EASTON——Elliott M. Rowlands Sr., 75, a resident of Easton for the past 40 years, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at home. He was the husband of Carol (Castriano) Rowlands for 37 years.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Grafton and Barbara (Bernbaum) Rowlands, he was raised in Boston and was a graduate of the Boston Public Schools.

Elliott worked in the food service industry and was employed as a manger at Frank's Restaurant in Brockton for 20 years. Elliott changed careers and became the proprietor of Kingston Motor Sales which he operated for several years. After, he became the purchasing agent for Chuckran Auto Parts of Bridgewater for the past 13 years.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his children, Ellyn Leonard and her husband Scott of Pembroke, Elliott Rowlands Jr. and his wife Tammy of Buzzards Bay and Edward Rowlands and his wife Janice of Warwick, RI. His step children, Kelly Steen of Easton, Shawn Steen of CA., and Yvonne Costa of Halifax; and a sister, Florence Biggs of Westwood. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 p.m. For directions or condolences visit
