Heart Emblem

EASTON---Edward E. Bourget, of Easton, MA formerly of Mansfield, Foxboro, and Brockton, passed away peacefully at his home at the Residence at Five Corners on November 16, 2020, nine months after the passing of his wife Marion J. (Larson) Bourget to whom he was married for 70 years.

Born in Brockton, a son to the late Edward E. and Helen (Thomas) Bourget, he was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School.

Edward enjoyed some wonderful employment opportunities through his life which ultimately led him to own his own company, Tremont Industries.

Edward was a kind, silly, enterprising, energetic, and independent man. He was the ultimate handy man as he and his wife remodeled two of their antique homes to perfection. He was a member of the Model A Ford Club of Massachusetts and he was an avid, skilled bridge player.

Edward is survived by his children, Mary-Beth Medeiros and her husband David of Fairhaven and John Bourget and his wife Carolyn of Mansfield; two sisters, Deborah Fencer of Onset and Dorothy Pickering of West Bridgewater; four grandchildren, Sarah Medeiros, Matthew Medeiros, Adam Bourget, and Andrew Bourget, and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at South Easton Cemetery, Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton MA on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11:30 a.m.
