EASTON—Dorothy P. (Paolini) Berardi, 80, of Easton, formerly of Randolph, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Philip A. Berardi for 59 years.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Emilio and Julia (Jankowski) Paolini, she was raised in Brighton and was a graduate of Brighton High School.

Dorothy was employed as a lab technician for Boston City Hospital and also worked as a bookkeeper in the manufacturing industry

A resident of Randolph for 40 years, she moved to Easton 15 years ago.

She loved animals especially cats and dogs and her greatest treasure was time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Linda Lakin and her husband Jon of Easton and Christine Woodard and her husband Matthew of Stoughton; a sister, Joan Lampert and her companion Victor Pitzi of Chestnut Hill; a brother, Richard Paolini and his wife Marsha of Needham; sister-in-law of Joanne Berardi and Kathleen "Chickie" Berardi both of Vero Beach, FL.; grandmother of Michael Lakin and Robert Lakin both of Easton and Nicholas Woodard and Caroline Woodard both of Stoughton; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of the late Mary Foley, John "Sonny" Berardi, Bernardo "Billy" Berardi, Joseph Berardi, and Lucille Berardi.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Dorothy's memory may be sent to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1300 West Elm Street Extension, Brockton, MA. 02301.
