EASTON—Dorothy F. Pittard, 96, of Easton passed away on August 6, 2021, at Southeast Rehabilitation Center in Easton. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Pittard.

Dorothy was born in Boston to Thomas Faulkner and Margaret (Whealan) Faulkner on April 8, 1925. She was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Boston Public Schools and later worked as a nurses aide at the former Norfolk Nursing Home in Stoughton. Dorothy attended Holy Cross Church and loved to listen to music. She also enjoyed shopping.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Margaret Samsel of GA., Rosemary Jones, of Easton, Carolyn Sinclair of Houston, TX, Jacqueline Pittard of Marion, Marion Frederick Pittard Jr, of Houston, TX, Theresa Pittard, of Dallas, TX, Gerard T. Pittard, of Houston, TX and Loretta Pegg, of Taunton and Eric Pittard, of Bridgewater and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, the late Dorothy Bennett.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Kane Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte. 138), Easton, on Tuesday August 17th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. A funeral home service will be held at 11:30 with interment to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:45 p.m. For directions or condolences visit www.kanefuneralhome.com
