EASTON---Dorothea K. (Williams) Lewis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 18th, 2017, after a long illness.

She was a nurse for forty years at Norwood Hospital, Goddard Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital. She dedicated her life to caring for people in her work and at home. Her many joys included her artwork, their home in Maine, visiting her many friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Avery L. Williams of Easton, and the late Margaret M. (Adams) Williams of Easton. She leaves a loving brother, Avery Lee Williams of Easton, her sister Claire (Williams) Hallahan of Virginia, and her late brother, Francis (Buddy) Williams.

She is survived by her husband J. Peter Lewis of fifty three years, her children: Donna Bonia and her husband Michael, Margaret McNeill, John Lewis and his wife Gina, Michael Lewis and his wife Marilyn, Patricia Warwick and her grandchildren: David Lewis and his wife Jenny, Thomas Bonia, John Cameron Lewis, Scott McNeill, Peter Lewis, Emily McNeill, Katherine Lewis, Rachel Bonia, Ezekiel Lewis, Colin Warwick, and Megan Warwick. She is also survived by her dearest and best friend, Elissa Tiexiera.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, on Wednesday February 22nd from 4-8 p.m. with a Service to follow at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may donate in her name to a charity of their choice.
