EASTON----Denise M. (Pugliesi) Gomes, 53, a lifelong resident of Easton, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2019. She was the loving mother of Vincent C. Gomes of Easton.

Born in Stoughton, a daughter of Janet L. (Bourne) Lofstrom and her husband David of Middleboro and the late Michael R. Pugliesi, she was raised in Easton and was a 1984 graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

Denise was employed in the food service industry and also served as a bartender for many years at Geno's Restaurant & Lounge in Mansfield and was a member of the Mansfield Elks.

Denise enjoyed camping at Ellis Haven Campground in Plymouth and attending NASCAR. Denise was a devoted friend to many.

In addition to her son Vincent, she is survived by her siblings, Robert M. Pugliesi and his wife Veronica of Easton and Michael Pugliesi and his wife Alex of Portland, Maine, Mark D. Wilton and his wife Tracey of Swansea and William Wilton Jr. of Middleboro; a nephew, Cameron Pugliesi of Easton and a niece Samantha Pugliesi of Easton; her former husband Frank V. Gomes of FL and her cat "Boots". She was the step-daughter of William Wilton of Easton and Rhonda Romani of Berkley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 3-6 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton with a funeral service being held at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Denise's memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38015.
