EASTON----David J. Gardner, 70, a lifelong resident of Easton, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton after a brief illness.

Born in Brockton he is the son of Edwina F. (Taylor) Gardner of Easton and the late George I. Gardner. Brother of Sandra L. Hawkins of Easton and Cheryl A. Gardner of Easton; uncle of Scott Faria, Kim Wallace, Emily Hawkins and Jonathan Hawkins; also survived by 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Private family interment will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Donations in David's memory may be sent to the charity of one's choice. For directions or condolences visit
