RAYNHAM——Casey L. Richard, 25, a resident of Raynham, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford from an infection due to a long illness.

Born in Stoughton, a daughter of Michael W. and Robin J. (Rupprecht) Richard, she was raised in Raynham and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School and attended Bridgewater State University.

Casey was employed as a waitress in the food service industry and worked for Buddy's Union Villa in Easton and Uno's Restaurant. She was also employed as a telemarketer when she lived in Florida.

Casey enjoyed walks along the beach and listening to country music.

In addition to her parents, Michael and Robin, she is survived by her son, Timothy Richard of Raynham; a sister, Jamie Richard of Raynham; her paternal grandmother, Catherine Richard of Easton, her maternal grandmother, Louise Rupprecht of Weymouth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also the paternal granddaughter of the late Buddy Richard and Maternal granddaughter of the late Robert Rupprecht.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, Easton. For directions or condolences visit www.kanefuneralhome.com
