EASTON---Carol (Mixer) Roderick, 81, of Easton passed away on December 14, 2021 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Leslie Roderick.

Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Rodney and Goldie (Lindberg) Mixer, she was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School.

Carol graduated with her Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate and devoted her life to caring for the elderly. She worked for several nursing home facilities and private care organizations. She was proud to be a part of the Easton Council on Aging when it was established in 1972. Even through her struggles, Carol put the needs of those she cared for and loved before her own.

Carol enjoyed many life-long friendships. She had an uncanny way of always knowing someone where ever she went. The phone was her lifeline the past few years and she looked forward to catching up with those who called.

Carol is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Sue) Anderson of Plymouth, Juli-Beth Anderson of Dighton, Daughter-in-law Pamela Anderson of Florida and Meredith Roderick of Whitman; her cherished grandchildren Mishelle, Ryan, Jeffrey Jr, Toni-Elizabeth, Michael II, Eva, Matthew and Nathan; and great grandchildren Amaya, Cadence, Cassidy, Tripp, Bella, Nathan, Madison, Justin, Dillon and Colton. Carol was predeceased by her son's Charles Anderson, Michael Roderick and Peter Roderick.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. Interment will follow in South Easton Cemetery, Easton.
