EASTON—-Bradlee B. Graves Sr., 90, a resident of Easton for the past 45 years, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Verla C. (Carter) Graves for 49 years.
Born in Waitsfield, VT., a son of the late William and Carolyn (Bover) Graves, he was raised and educated in Waitsfield, VT.
Bradlee was the proprietor of Randolph Exxon later known as Tyron Car Care for 35 years and worked as an auto mechanic.
A former member of the Mad River Masonic Lodge # 77 F & AM in Waitsfield, VT., Bradlee was an avid Red Sox Fan who enjoyed trips to FenWay Park on many occasions with his wife Verla.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Bradlee B. Graves Jr. and his wife Deborah of Westerly, RI.; a daughter, Brenda Lowell and her husband Thomas Jr. of Bridgewater; a brother, Ronald Graves of Rutland, VT.; and two grandchildren, Bradlee B. Graves III of Quincy and Lindsey Graves of Westerly, RI. He was also the brother of the late Barbara Story and William Graves.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Bradlee's memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
