NAPLES, FL.——Bernard J. Goodman Sr., of Naples, FL., formerly of Brockton, died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Arden Courts in Naples after a long illness with his beloved life partner Barbara A. Taylor at his bedside.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Louis and Margaret (McDonough) Goodman he was raised in Boston.

Bernard was retired after 36 years service with the Brockton Trial Court serving as past chief court officer.

In addition to his life partner Barbara, he is survived by his children, Bernard J. Goodman Jr., of Naples, FL., Jean Goodman Devine of Hingham, Tracy Goodman of Dorchester, and Brian Goodman of Holywood, CA. and Kerrie Wieners of Brockton; also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
