EAST WAREHAM——Bernard R. "Bud" Orcutt, 85, of East Wareham, formerly of Easton, died, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at home after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Corinne A. (Oliver) for 65 years.

Born in Brockton, a son of the late Ronald A. and Dorothea E. (Loeffler) Orcutt, he was raised in Brockton and was a 1950 graduate of Brockton High School. A veteran of the US Navy, he served as an Electricians Mate during the Korean War.

Upon honorable discharge he entered electrical schooling at Great Lakes Training Center. Bud worked as a master electrician and was the proprietor of Orcutt Electric of Easton for 35 years.

A licensed real estate broker, he was a resident of Easton for 43 years before moving to East Wareham in 1999.

A member of the Moosehead Lodge in Naples, FL., his hobbies included golfing, billiards, shell fishing, quahogging and fishing.

In addition to his wife Corinne, he is survived by his children, Paul Orcutt, of Sherborn, Stephen Orcutt of Taunton, Joanne Manzi of Middleburg, FL., Elaine Orcutt of West Wareham and Nancy Orcutt of Argyle, NY; a sister, Diane M. Sterling of Brockton; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Leonard F. Orcutt and Lois E. Ryan.
